Our program features Outpatient Suboxone therapy to individuals who struggle with opioid dependence. Our mission is to identify with people who fight against daily consumption of narcotics. Battling withdrawals, muscle aches, restlessness, and cold sweats are just some of the symptoms associated with consuming short-acting opioids, including heroine and prescription painkillers. You are not alone! Our staff and Board Certified Addiction Specialists have had years of experience working in this specified medical field and look forward to hearing your story.
Using medication to treat substance use disorders is often referred to as Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT), commonly known as Suboxone Treatment. Medications can reduce the cravings and other symptoms associated with withdrawal from a substance by occupying receptors in the brain associated with using that drug (agonists or partial agonists), block the rewarding sensation that comes with using a substance (antagonists), or induce negative feelings when a substance is taken. MAT has proved to be clinically effective and to significantly reduce the need for inpatient detoxification services for these individuals. MAT provides a more comprehensive, individually tailored program of medication and behavioral therapy. Medication Assisted Therapy has been primarily used for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder. This method involves using medication in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies.
At Clarksville Addiction Recovery, we use individual counseling to focus on stopping substance use, skill building, adherence to a recovery plan, and social, family, and professional/educational outcomes. Cognitive-behavioral therapy teaches individuals in treatment to recognize and stop negative patterns of thinking as well as negative behavior. Our counseling service is available on a weekly basis and can be designed to fit the individual need of each patient. Our substance abuse treatment program will allow patients to work while maintaining life as they know it. Clarksville Addiction Recovery, LLC includes this service for no additional charge. We also encourage any outside support programs available in your pathway to recovery.
Our mission is to provide a unique level of care through health and wellness that embodies professional and comprehensive treatment services focused on the long term recovery from opioid addiction.
